Vampire Academy

I have started a new series called Vampire Academy. I love this story because it has a strong female lead. She takes crap from no one, she is funny but thoughtful, she is a fighter, but most of all she has the same normal feels regular people have as well.
The main character in this book cares deeply for her best friend whom she has known since childhood. So much so that she would protect her with her life and cares more about how her friend is doing than herself. The main character's name is Rose and her best friend's name is Lissa. Rose is dhamphir, which is part human, part vampire. Dhamphirs' job is to protect the vampire called the Moroi, which is what Lissa is. Lissa is a Royal Moroi, apart of one of the twelve royal families.
The two girls go to a dhamphir and Moroi academy. Once they graduate, Rose is supposed to become her guardian because of this psychic link they have. Through the story they encounter many problems and obstacles that change them. Rose even falls in love with someone she knows she can never have.
This story will keep your mind spinning, your eyes open, and have you wanting more. I suggest you read these books.

NaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo

I have signed up for this thing they do every couple of months. It is mainly in November, but they also do a camp during April and July. ( Don't worry it is an online camp.) NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. Starting on November first, whom ever has signed up, starts writing a novel. That whole month you just write and then later you edit. I am not completely sure on all of the details, but if you want to know more you should head over to there website.http://nanowrimo.org/en/dashboard.

Now at the online camp they also have writing challenges during the months of April and July. It is mainly for the teens, though. That is what I will be doing in July. So if you want more info on that, just go to http://www.campnanowrimo.org/.

Fire and Ice

This song is inspired by The Infernal Devices, another wonderful series about Shadowhunders in London late 1800s by Cassandra Clare.

She is very talented. Post your comments about what you think.
